Six walkers braved the elements for the second outing of 2020.

We walked from Portishead open-air pool across Battery Point to the Marina and decided which yacht to buy on winning the lottery. Exhausted by such decision-making we had to stop for cake and coffee where yet more decisions were made about how far to continue with the walk. In the end 3 people decided to make a break for The Royal Inn whilst the remaining 3 rapidly trudged through the rain and mud to the Nature Reserve, admiring the gulls, ducks and magpies before joining the others for lunch.

A wet start to the year but we enjoyed some fresh air and an excellent lunch.
