There were 10 people who braved the coldest walk of the year!
We started off from the Folk Hall, walked round stone built houses in one of the oldest parts of Portishead. We continued and walked down one side of the harbour, where we walked to the end to see the lovely lights across the channel to Portbury and Avonmouth.
Some of the harbour boats and dwellings had their Christmas lights lit and the restaurants were very festive. We continued to walk round the end of the harbour and through the back streets of the new area; with their normal and Christmas lights it felt like a Cornish town.
We then rejoined the harbour side and walked down the Christmas lit high street and into the Phoenix bar for a welcome drink and mince pie. Due to the pub being very busy we sat outside with heaters, which was lovely as the garden was colourful with lights, but after awhile we started to feel the cold when we walked back to our cars.
Despite being a cold night we all enjoyed the Portishead lights.
