Twelve Members of the Civic Society caught the X6 bus, as it circuited Clevedon, and alighted at The Centre in Bristol close to our first and oldest statue - that of Neptune (1723). We followed a well planned route devised by the Bristol Ramblers to take in a wide range of historic and modern sculptures.

The decision to stop for coffee and later for lunch meant that we did not complete all of the route but we certainly enjoyed the ones we did see, and perhaps we will complete the route on another visit to Bristol.
