A dozen regulars turned up at the Old Inn for a morning walk across Clevedon Moor previously surveyed by Paul and Luc. All set off happily despite the overcast sky and Paul Cronin’s necessary warnings about roads, mud, high stiles and cows.
After following the Land Yeo the group turned down Court Lane and over the motorway to Cooks Lane following two blocked entrances to Moor paths.
The path northwards from the Triangle farm led back to the Land Yeo and a field on Cadbury Court Farm near Tickenham Road complete with Alpacas. Neither these animals nor their visitors were overwhelmed by the experience, and it began to rain.
The group retraced its steps back to the motorway to reach the Craft Centre for a welcome coffee and cake before returning to town via the motorway roundabout.
