Cadbury Camp, Tickenham
On a rather damp and unpromising morning, three members of the Footpaths Group walked to Cadbury Camp from Tickenham Village Hall.
Early on, the sky was grey and misty but it became brighter as the morning progressed. The path well maintained but muddy in places.
The three-mile circular walk took around two hours with several stops on the way to examine this spectacular late Iron Age hill fort and take in the views. We paused to look at the interesting Brown Rock Woodland Project in Bayes Wood.
