Six of us met at Strode Road car park for 9.30, and made our way to Draycott Village Hall (Permission had already been kindly granted for us to use).
We made our way from there on foot to start of walk. It was a steady climb using tracks to the top, but with outstanding views of Cheddar reservoir to the right, Vale of Wedmore in the centre, and to the left Wells and Glastonbury.
We went through the nature reserve to pick up the West Mendip Way downhill to Sun Batch, then we took the lane back to the Village Hall.
This was a short walk of only 2.8 Miles but the views were outstanding.
