Helen and John guided us on an entertaining walk around Stapleton, Eastville, St. Werburgs and Ashley Vale in Bristol.

On the way we saw some extant and still-working gas lamps, and Helen showed us the site and related the stories of some murders that happened in the area.

Afterwards we retired to the Gordano Gate in Portishead for a well-earned afternoon meal.
