Knepp Rewilding Project
Today's walk was around the Knepp rewilding project. We saw old English Long Horn cattle and calves, a flock of white storks soaring in the thermals, a windmill and the remains of a thirteenth century castle.
The beavers, Tamworth pigs, Exmoor ponies and red deer were more elusive. The day was completed by refreshments in the barn cafe and courtyard.
7.8 miles, ascent/descent 151 feet.
