On 12th June, 6 members of the Environment Group spent an hour-and-a-half tackling the overgrown zig-zag steps forming part of the tourist trail up to Dial Hill (and much-used by locals).
Overhanging brambles and other vegetation were cut back, and the steps thoroughly cleared. A rescue party was needed to locate one of our group who was temporarily lost in the 'jungle'.
