Our final working party of the year on Monday 11th November saw 12 volunteers tackle the lengthy Donkey Path running between Victoria Road and the seafront.
Weeds, leaves and mud were cleared from the ground, and overhanging vegetation cut back. The great turn-out enabled us to finish the whole path on time.
We received this lovely email from a member of the public afterwards:
"I just wanted to say a huge thank you to all the members of the Clevedon Civic Society for clearing the path along the side of the allotments at the end of Albert Road today. The path looks fantastic and I appreciate being able to walk down there with ease. I use the path 2-3 times a day as I walk my dog along the sea front and use the path for access.
Amazing effort, well done everyone."
Thanks to Liz for the welcome refreshments in her home afterwards.
We are grateful also to Jeff for all his work this year in hosting our reports on the Civic Society website.
We will start up operations again in March 2020.
