The Long Mynd, Pole Bank and Carding Mill Valley
We climbed in sunshine and under blue skies steadily up to the Boiling Well Spring and walked along the Mynd to the Pole Bank trig. point (516m). The 360 degrees view was amazing.
We retraced our steps along the Shropshire Way before enjoying our packed lunches and then descending very steeply to the valley and Carding Mill.
Then some of us went into Church Stretton for well earned refreshments and others came back to the hotel.
Walk length 6.8 miles and elevation 1050 feet climbed.
