On a largely overcast day, twelve walkers and a well-mannered Dylan took part in the Footpaths Group’s traditional Christmas Pudding Burn-off.
The walk involved a two-mile stroll along roads and around some of Clevedon’s charming small Victorian parks. We met in Pier Copse at the seating overlooking the pier. After leaving the copse we went up through Alexandra Gardens and along Hill Road to Herbert Road.
We noted the elegant Victorian architecture before going round Herbert Gardens. We followed Linden and Princes Roads to Sunhill Park and then carried on down the Donkey Path to the Band Stand.
We returned to The Beach via the sea front and five of us stayed on to enjoy a coffee at Scarlett’s Cafe.
