The Environment Group opened the new season with a return to Marine Hill.

Pavements and gullies were cleared by the seven volunteers, and also a drain choked with dead leaves. Overhanging branches were lopped to let sunlight through and hopefully keep the pavement drier in future.

In addition, we reported to the police what appeared to be a badly damaged and abandoned (probably stolen) car, which was removed a few days later.
